Upcoming Field Days

The University of  Arkansas System Division of Agriculture's field days are a way to demonstrate best practices in the cultivation of plants and animals. Each of the division's centers and stations conducts research in multiple production areas, with an eye to helping Arkansas farmers and ranchers raise crops that use natural and financial resources wisely and efficiently.  

This year's 2016 lineup so far: 

  • Aug. 3, FAYETTEVILLE -- Turf Field Day
  • Aug. 10, STUTTGART -- Arkansas Rice Expo, Rice Research and Extension Center and Grand Prairie Center 
  • Aug. 18, Soybean College at Newport Research Station Register
  • Sept. 15, CLARKSVILLE -- Muscadine Field Day, Fruit Research Station

Registration open for 2016 Soybean College

2016 Soybean College, scheduled for Aug. 18 at the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture’s Newport Research Station.

The college is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. and conclude at 5 p.m. Registration for the 2016 Soybean College will be $75 per person, and can be completed online:
