Southwest Research and Extension Center

The mission of the University of Arkansas Southwest Research and Extension Center is to provide research-based results for the agriculture producer in the areas of beef cattle, plant pathology, forestry, and horticulture that positively impact food, fiber and bioenergy production in southwest Arkansas, the state of Arkansas, the nation and the world.

We welcome site visitors and station visitors alike to explore and learn about the work that is done through the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture personnel at the SWREC.

Please feel free to contact our interim station director, Dr. Paul Beck, or any one of our faculty or staff if you have questions about the SWREC or the research and extension activities that take place here.
