Osage is a determinate soybean cultivar with a relative maturity of 5.6. It has purple flowers, gray pubescence, and tan pod wall. Seeds have yellow cotyledons with dull yellow seed coat and imperfect black hila, with an average seed size of 3661 seeds per pound or 12.4 g per 100 seeds. Plants average 27 inches tall and have moderate resistance to lodging and shattering. The average protein content of Osage was 43.3%, with an oil content of 20.4%.

Osage is resistant to southern stem canker, sudden death syndrome, soybean mosaic virus, and frogeye leaf spot. It is susceptible to root knot nematode and soybean cyst nematode (races 2, 3, and 14). It is a chloride excluder.

UA 5414RR

UA 5414RR is a relative maturity 5.4 determinate soybean variety. It has white flowers, gray pubescence, and tan pod walls. Seeds have yellow cotyledons, a dull-yellow seed coat, and a buff hilum. It has an average seed weight of 2967 seeds per pound or 15.3 g per 100 seeds and averages 39.7% protein and 21.3% oil, on dry-weight basis. Plants average 34 inches tall, with high lodging and shattering resistance.

According to the results from the 2011 USDA Uniform Preliminary Soybean MG V Test and Arkansas Soybean Performance Tests from 2011 to 2013, UA 5414RR is resistant to stem canker,  moderately susceptible to frogeye leaf  spot, and susceptible to soybean cyst nematode (races 2, 3, 4, 5, and 14), root knot nematode, and reniform nematode. It is a chloride excluder.
